We are here in Safaga, one of the most beautiful parts on the Red Sea, Egypt and a perfect location for kitesurf (kiteboard), windsurf or catamaran holiday. The strong and steady thermal winds mean that we’ve got a safe environment to learn as well as a great spot for advanced riders all year round.

Kitesurf
Our centre is located right next to the beach at the Holiday Inn in Safaga. To make sure you get the best possible kiteboard experience we run a daily boat trip to Soma Bay, a perfect kite spot a few kilometres away. Sara will meet you in the center and the boat leaves every morning at 9am (try to be there at 8:45 to prepare the materiel) and usually returns to the hotel around 4pm and includes lunch and a drink. Depending on the wind, there is a
5 kilometre downwinder at the end of the day. On days where there is too little wind to kite we take advantage of the boat and take you to some fantastic snorkelling sports nearby.
Soma bay (photos?) or the part that we are using that called Kreazy Bay is a huge bay area with constant sideshore wind (??). There is a tidal knee- deep lagoon which provides the perfect place to learn. We usually get people up on the board in the first day! Once you get to grips handling the trainer kite in the lagoon you then move onto body dragging in the deeper area next to the boat, and then practicing with the board.
For more advanced kiters there is a huge bay next to the boat, away from the learners, to practice tricks or for long upwinders.
The boat costs just 15 euros per person a day and this price includes lunch, a drink, snorkelling,, help with landing, launching and setting up your kite, and a rescue boat with as many rescues trips as necessary. Either bring your own equipment or hire ours here at the center. Either way, we clean and store the material over
night ready for the next days kiting.
Windsurfing
In the Tornadosurf center Hassan will meet you to give you a great windsurfing experience.
Our materiel is JP boards and Nielpryde sails. From the center to the beach its 10 meter and you can easily change your materiel when you want depending on the wind. Of course you have an assistance of Mohamed to help carry and change the materiel to the sizes good for you and the conditions.
We do windsurf for everybody, lessons in all levels from beginner to funboard freestyle.
The water is flat water but as the wind blows we get a nice chop that invites you to jump.
Catamaran
The center also got 2 Topcat catamarans a Fourmula2 13 feet and a spitfire 18 feet.
Its possible to rent, take lessons or let Hassan take you for a ride if you don’t know how to sail.
For the windsurfers if the wind is to light to surf the you can take out the catamaran free of charge!!!!
Holiday Packages
You need to organise your own flights but we can organise all the rest for you from tuition to the airport transfer. We can tailor your holiday to your needs depending on your choice of hotel, whether you bring your own equipment, require classes etc.
