IKO Assistant Trainer Training Course
Are you an IKO Instructor Level 3 and at least 24 years old? You enjoy teaching kiteboarding and are looking for a way to increase your revenue with your passion?
Description
In order to become a certified Assistant Trainer, you can participate in this 5-day Assistant Trainer Training Course and validate all the criteria.
The ATTC will be done at the same time as an AITC-Plus. 2 Assistant Trainer candidates can attend an ATTC at the same time considering each of them has at least two Assistant Instructor candidates to train. The Examiner will help and coach the Assistant Trainer candidates. Debriefings will be done during the breaks and at the end of each days; but it is the candidates who run the course under the supervision of the Examiner.

What happens if the course is canceled by the organizer?
What happens if the course is cancelled by the organizer? This can happen if there are not enough candidates. The cancelation will be at least 1 month before the start date of the course. The deposit of the training fee will be paid back to you.
What happens if the candidate cancels the course?
If the candidate cancels less than 1 month before the AITC starts, the organizer does not reimburse his/her deposit. If s/he cancels more than 1 month before the AITC starts, the organizer will refund his/her deposit (minus any administrative charges).
What happens if there is no wind?
Candidate Assistant Instructors are aware that they might not be certified at the end of the course, if there were too many days without wind.
In the event of no wind, the course may be extended for 1 day, upon agreement between the trainer, the organizer and the candidates. If the training cannot be extended, the candidates will work on teaching simulation and advanced lesson plan building analysis and will then complete their practical training (shadowing) and practical riding level assessment by an IKO Instructor Level 2 or higher.
