Situation in Egypt

Here at the Red Sea in Egypte, especially in Safaga, everything is normal and quiet, regardless the political situation. The Tornado Surf Center ist open, the sun is shining and the conditions for Kite- and Windsurfing in Safaga and Soma Bay are excellent as usual.

The ongoing political unrest in Egypt's major cities has no significant, negative impact on the life and tourism at the Red Sea - except for the fact that the hotel occupancy rate is rather low. But this has in turn the advantage that both in the hotels and on the water there is always enough space... ;-)

There is nothing to worry about when coming to Safaga for a relaxed kitesurfing or windsurfing holiday.

Kite-Boat back from Wellness-Holidays
Our Kite-Boot "Utopia-Team" is back from its well-deserved "Wellness-Holidays" and ready for the new season. During its tree-week stay in the dry dock it has received a complete new paint as well as some other great improvements.

Would you like to transform your passion into your (temporary) profession? In March 2012 you can join one of our IKO Kite Instructor Trainings.
